We had a corderoy bedrest years ago and loved it. Then my husband had surgery and spent alot of time in bed. I was worried that this one would not hold up as well as our other one. I was wrong. This one is very sturdy and he is able to sit comfortably in bed. I also like the dark color. It also works well turned over and used to prop up your legs also.

We put our new flat screen TV in the middle bedroom, which means that one or two viewers need to sit up in bed to watch. Finding some good backrests proved to be harder than we thought. Local stores had nothing. There is an item called a BedLounge available online but it costs $130-180.

This product for $26 with free shipping does the job. The twill cover is nicely made. Back support is good and solid. Fill material has the right density. Delivered to my porch free of charge. Excuse me while I go watch a movie. Thanks Amazon!

As far as comfort goes, it should be illegal for any pillow to be this comfortable. Seriously… At first you lay your head on it and you think it is going to be way too firm, then it gives just enough to cradle your head. Amazing.

As far as the cooling goes, the best way I can explain it, is that while the pillow doesn’t seem cool, it does keep your head from getting outrageously hot, which was a HUGE problem for me with other pillows.

The smell: It has a “new foam” smell, it didn’t bother me. Almost reminds me of a new car smell. If it bothers you, once you take it out of the plastic, you can let it air out and the smell will subside.

If you are deciding between this and a Chillow, choose this. I bought a Chillow and since it won’t stop wadding up, it is now wadded up on my floor as I lay on my Iso-Cool.

I was in a car accident years back – shattered a windshield with my head. I’ve had neck pain on & off since then and I’ve tried several pillows, most of which I was dissapointed with how they felt. This pillow is exactly what I was looking for. In fact, its so comfortable and “cool” that my wife began stealing it from me in the middle of the night. So I had to order a second one. I recommend this pillow to anyone who sweats at night and/or wakes up with a stiff neck.

I bought these pillows as gifts as well as bought two for myself. They have a strong scent at first. However, I took ours out the box and let them air out around the house for a week before using. The strong scent is gone. My head and neck are supported comfortably. I don’t toss and turn. These pillows are like heaven.
